The vision behind Cloak Collective was to create an environment where different types of artists, of all skill levels, could find an affordable creative workspace.

Cloak Collective offers both private rooms and shared spaces for tattoo artists, fine artists, and other types of creatives to do their work. By bringing like-minded individuals together, the opportunity for collaborations, building connections, expanding clientele, and forming a community with one another is within reach.

Our owner, Colin Johnson, has worked primarily as a tattoo artist in the DFW area for more than 12 years. He has also done freelance work as a graphic designer, shoe customizer, painter, and muralist. As an artist who has worked with many different mediums, he understands the importance for artists to have access to a work environment that fosters and nurtures their creativity.
